Measured twice. Put in writing.

Five steps, the same on a two day repair as on a season long remodel. You always know what happens next, what it costs, and who is in your house.

01

Site visit

We walk the property with you, measure, photograph and listen. No pressure and no theatrics. A tape, a notebook and the right questions.

02

Written proposal

Scope, materials by name and grade, allowances, schedule and price, in a document you can hold us to. The number we quote is the number we hold.

03

Materials & scheduling

Stock is selected, ordered and acclimated before we open a wall. You get a start date you can plan a household around, and we keep it.

04

The build

Floors papered, furniture sheeted, dust contained, site broom clean every evening. A small crew you will know by name. The kind of crew you trust with the house keys, because our clients regularly do.

05

Walkthrough & warranty

We walk the finished work together, close the punch list to zero, and hand over a written workmanship warranty. Most clients call us first for everything after that.

Preservation · A working harbor
Working boat moored at dawn in a Cape harbor
Hyannis has been a working harbor for two hundred years. Word of good work still travels by water.
Classic Cape with rebuilt front porch and white rail
Our workA porch rebuilt on a classic Cape, put back the way it was meant to stand.
A village tradition
In the old Cape villages a man's word traveled faster than he did, and a handshake carried a season of work. We still work that way. We just put it in writing as well.

Step one is a conversation.

Site visits across the Cape are scheduled within the week. We reply within one business day.
